Huge (3.25L) Glass Apothecary / Reagent Jar with ground glass lid

Description

For sale is a vintage glass apothecary / reagent jar with a fitted ground glass lid. The jar is huge, with a 3.25L capacity. It stands 11.5" from the base to the top of the stopper, with a wide 2.25" mouth and a 6.5" base. It's not signed or labeled, so the manufacturer is unknown. It's in amazing condition with only minor shelf wear, but no cracks. There's a tiny chip on the inside of the lid (see the photos), but that may even be a manufacturing defect.
