I collect and restore manual typewriters and do reviews of them with my kids on our Typewriter Minutes YouTube channel. But we didn’t restore this one—it was professionally cleaned and serviced by Abel Office Machines in Fort Worth in August 2018 (service receipt available) and lightly used since then by the prior owner and kept under the nice clear dust cover. No case. (But why would you want to put this beautiful machine inside a case anyway?) All you have to do is insert paper and type. Typewriter is in amazing shape. One small paint chip hiding behind the tab key. Otherwise, it’s pretty dang pristine. I encourage you to watch the video. Mr. Abel installed an all-black ribbon on metal spools. I will also include red/black ribbon on plastic spools. Comes with clear dust cover, a reproduction instruction manual, and a rubber or cork typewriter pad. This typewriter would make an excellent graduation gift for an aspiring author, or a surprise birthday gift. And by the way, kids love typewriters!
