Vintage Realistic Human Skull
I purchased this skull years ago at a flea-market. The seller didn't know anything about it. I believe it was a medical teaching aid, as it looks very realistic, not like a Halloween prop. The teeth look especially good, as they are not perfect, but are like real teeth. This skull is made out of some hard bone like material or plastic. It measures about 8 inches or a bit less from the bottom of the jaw to the top. Measuring around the skull at the widest part it's about 19 inches with a tape measure. It weighs 1 pound 2 ounces unpacked. I have had this on a shelf for years and everyone comments on how real it looks. I could not find any manufacturing markings. The jaw is hinged with springs.
